Here’s some really great news about Club Penguin ’s annual charity drive called, Coins for Change . This year, they’re going to double their donation to charity if penguins can fill the Lighthouse with coins from the event.

There hasn’t been much real news about the Elite Penguin Force (EPF) in a while. Of course, we’ve all been doing our weekly Field Ops missions, but despite the ongoing storyline of those missions, not much has really happened.

Club Penguin updated the community blog with the news that the Art for Haiti submissions are now open. So beginning this weekend, you can go to their page to submit your artwork. Winning submissions will become part of murals that will decorate schools that are being build for kids in Haiti.

There is a brand-new room in Club Penguin . It’s located inside the Elite Penguin Force area, inside the building that used to be the Winter Sports Shop. To get to the new room, which is called the VR Room, you use the new tube transport from the main EPF Headquarters

The latest news in Club Penguin is that the Winter Sports Shop is now closed for repairs, and it may be closed permanently. If you go to the ski village , you’ll see that the popcorn which appeared after Mission 11 was introduced is still there, but all the items from inside the Sports Shop are now scattered around the village.

At the end of Club Penguin Mission 11 , Herbert’s super popcorn device exploded inside the Penguin Secret Agent Headquarters, damaging it and sending popcorn everywhere.
